Evaluation of ambulatory nursing services by TÜV Rheinland Group provides valuable support for public authorities and the relatives of persons in need of care. Together with scientists, physicians and nursing care specialists, the specialists at TÜV have developed a procedure which evaluates the quality of nursing services. The infrastructure, equipment, qualification of the personnel, reliability of the care services and customer orientation are evaluated. TÜV experts also obtain the opinion of both the persons in need of care and their family members before such a certificate is issued. Thus the quality mark offers an orientation aid when it comes to selection of a nursing care service. In addition, it enables the certified nursing service to set itself off from competitors in a positive manner.
